連軋機是一種可以提高勞動生產率和軋制之類的先進方法。其主要特點是被扎金屬同時處于若干機架之中,并沿著同一放向進行軋制形成一定的斷面行狀。
而連軋機的電氣傳動則應在保證物質流量恒定的前提下承受咬合剛和軋制是的沖擊性負載,實現機架的各部分控制和協調控制。每個機架的上下軋輥共用一臺電動機實現集中拖動,不同機架采用不同電動機實現部分傳動,各機架軋輥之間的速度則按物質流量恒定原理用速度鏈實現協調控制。
物質流量不變的要求應在穩態和過渡過程中得到滿足,因此,需對過渡過程時間和超調量提出相應的限制。

The upper and lower rollers of each frame share a motor to achieve centralized driving. Different frames use different motors to achieve partial transmission. The speed between the rolls of each frame is coordinated by the speed chain according to the principle of constant material flow.
The requirement of constant material flow should be satisfied in the steady-state and transition processes. Therefore, the corresponding limits on the time and overshoot of the transition process must be put forward.
